Marc has been married to his best friend, love of his life and partner in projects since 2005. Much of his experience and a few grey hairs have come from raising 5 amazing and energetic children. He enjoys working with families, couples and children helping them work together to become stronger and healthier. Marc has worked with families in crisis since 2003.
Clinically he has been serving families in the Northern Utah area since 2007. As an example of his tolerance for conflict, Marc graduated from Brigham Young University in 2003 with a B.S. in Psychology. Then in 2009 he received a Masters in Social Work from the University of Utah.

Mary is passionate about assisting children, adolescents, and families to overcome challenges and strengthen their relationships with each other. She believes that even the smallest successes during difficulty can be a step towards lasting change.
Mary and her husband have supported children and families as foster parents for twelve years and they recently opened their home as therapeutic foster parents to teen refugees in need of a safe and stable environment. Mary’s experience in working with children and adolescents in both a clinical setting and in her personal life has allowed her to develop empathy and patience for children and their caregivers.
In her spare time Mary enjoys spending time outdoors in warm weather and she also enjoys watching movies and playing games with her husband and three children- all of whom joined their family through adoption.
Mary graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies and a B.S. in Sociology. She received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Utah State University in 2020.

Chris started his schooling to become a therapist at Brigham Young University-Idaho where he wanted to become a therapist. After graduating from this school, he went on to
continue his career goal of becoming a therapist by attending North Central University.
During his internship, Chris found that he enjoyed working with adolescents and helping them to find ways to cope with some of the obstacles they face. One way that Chris has been
able to do this is to be himself. Chris is a very personable therapist and a self-proclaimed geek;
his geekiness has been a way that he has connected with adolescents by sharing in some of their hobbies and passions.

My name is Liz Craven and I am a therapist here at Anson Family Counseling. I have a strong passion for assisting others in their treatment journey, and I feel it is an honor to do so.
I received a Bachelor's degree in Social Work with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies in 2022, as well as a Masters in Social Work in 2023. I obtained both these degrees from Utah State University. Go Aggies! I have always had a passion for service and working with people.
I was born in California then moved to Utah when I was five years old and have been here ever since! I absolutely love warm weather and the beach, but also love the mountains and Utah's adventurous atmosphere. I love spending time with family and friends, competing against my husband in pickleball, and listening to music.

Hello! I am Andrea Mendenhall. I am passionate about families. My goal is to become a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, but until I accomplish that I am working as a mentor, and loving it.
I was born and raised right here in Davis County. When I met my spouse, a long time ago, we decided to go active duty with the Army for a time. My husband's work allowed us to travel the country and even live in a few others like Germany. I have two kids, teenagers really.
My greatest accomplishment, so far, has been being their mother. In my spare time I like to be with my family. We enjoy playing games, watching movies, eating treats and laughing until our bellies hurt. I also love to read and watch the NHRA drag races!

Melinda and her family have enjoyed living in Davis County for years, exploring all Utah has to offer. Her
greatest passion is working with children and families to build connections, support growth, and
watching the success of each individual blossom. Melinda earned a dual bachelor’s degree at Weber
State University in Child and Family Studies and Psychology in 2021, and she is continuing to pursue a Master of Social Work at Weber State University.
Her undergraduate work included Gratitude and Resilience research, supporting education efforts in
Puerto Rico, developing family engagement guides for Utah State University (USU) Extension, facilitating
Marriage and Survival seminars for USU Extension, and offering Money Wise classes to teens in Foster
Care. Melinda’s favorite work is tutoring children and teens, helping them learn their own value and worth through understanding their own unique strengths and abilities.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, gardening, cooking, walking her dog, kayaking, puzzling, board games, meditation, yoga, tai chi, and stand-up paddle boarding as often as she can! She also volunteers with a local non-profit model railroading club for children and families monthly. Melinda’s son recently talked her into running with him, and she just finished her 3 rd 5k this summer, with promises to run the Haunted Half 2023. Melinda firmly believes one should only run if being chased by a bear; may the odds be ever in her favor.

LMFT
Clinical Director
Tim’s educational background started with music at a small college, now known as Brigham Young University-Idaho. As his culture and heritage are from Louisiana, he felt a call to transfer to Southeastern Louisiana University to be a Bachelor of Science in Family Consumer Science and Sociology.
Tim has always had an interest in the full scope of therapy and he has worked in several medical and mental health business offices, thus furthering his insight into the patient experience; from registration through billing and collection. After graduation, his young family moved to Southern California and he graduated from the University of Phoenix as a Master of Science in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy.
Tim started his career as a marriage and family therapist working with the adult substance abuse population; working with families, couples, and individuals. Tim then moved to Utah in late 2016 and started working with adolescents with substance abuse issues, continuing to work with families. Later, Tim worked with adolescents with behavioral and sexual misconduct issues in the residential setting. Throughout this time, Tim continued to work with families of all shapes and sizes including the LDS and LGBTQ+ populations.
Tim firmly believes that, “Even though an individual may come in for their own therapy, working with the family and looking at systems of the individual (school, employment, social, etc), can help the individual to recognize that they are just a piece of a larger puzzle.” Although Tim was born in Louisiana (Geaux Tigers!), he now resides in the rural area of Weber County. Tim has joined Anson Family Counseling to use his skills of patient management and billing specialities.

I enjoy spending time in the outdoors exploring new places, and running. My favorites are live music, tasty food, a good podcast and any chance to be creative.
I have had the privilege to work side by side with children and adolescents who are facing risks, for the past 8 years.
I enjoy working with children and teens because of what they teach me as well as the youthfulness and fun they always bring. I believe that everyone has unique strengths and they can be a masterpiece and a work in progress at the exact same time.
